DR. MONSERRAT PEÑA MD MSC

Dr. Monserrat Peña is founder of Monserrat Peña | Aesthetics & Nutrition, where she works as medical director and specialist in Aesthetic Medicine.

A lover of her family and an avid reader, she always looks for a daily time to do physical exercise, and thus lead by example to her patients.

Her passion for study, training and teaching led her to be a professor and collaborator of the Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the Universidad Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), and to give courses, training and presentations at national conferences on the different treatments and techniques from the world of nutrition and aesthetic medicine.

 

 

• Graduated from the School of Medicine of the Ibero-American University receiving the title of Doctor of Medicine Cum-Laude.

• Postgraduate at the Catholic University of Cuyo, Argentina with a double degree from ESNECA Business school.

• International Master in Nutritional Coaching from the University of the Latin American College of Advanced Education, Spain.

• Postgraduate at the San Judas Tadeo University of Costa Rica, in Non-surgical Aesthetic Medicine, Nutrition and Anti-aging, with endorsement from the Distance University of Madrid and AMIR.

• Founder and owner of the Monserrat Peña | Aesthetics & Nutrition; an Aesthetic Medicine and Nutrition Clinic in Santo Domingo.

• Speaker for Exercise is Medicine medical training workshops | ACSM.

• She has participated as a speaker at Internal Medicine conferences in the Dominican Republic.

Her constantly updates her knowledge, visiting different medical practices and attending conferences and workshops annually.

 

She's s an active member of AAAM, SIRF, SODOMEYA and CMD.
